Cookbook author Martha Stewart is very unhappy with the final version of her new Netflix documentary, “Martha,” claiming she made requests that director R.J. Cutler did not honor. “Those last scenes with me looking like a lonely old lady walking hunched over in the garden? Boy, I told him to get rid of those,” the 83-year-old celebrity told The New York Times in an interview published Wednesday. “And he refused. I hate those last scenes. Hate them.” Stewart said she was happy with parts of the project, including the first half, but took issue with some elements that made the final cut. The TV personality especially didn’t care for how much of the documentary focused on her trial and time spent in prison for her involvement in an insider trading scheme.  MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “It was not that important,” Stewart told the outlet. “The trial and the actual incarceration was less than two years out of an 83-year life. I considered it a vacation, to tell you the truth… the trial itself was extremely boring. Even the judge fell asleep. R.J. didn’t even put that in. The judge was asleep at the bench. I wrote it in my diary every day.” The celeb called out other decisions, including Cutler’s choice not to include her grandchildren, or take most of the material used in the documentary from her personal archive. Stewart had also requested that the project include rap music. “I said to R.J., ‘An essential part of the film is that you play rap music.’ Dr. Dre will probably score it, or [Snoop Dogg] or Fredwreck. I said, ‘I want that music.’ And then he gets some lousy classical score in there, which has nothing to do with me,” she added. Even though she’s not happy with it, Stewart said she hopes the documentary will positively impact viewers. “So many girls have already told me — young women — that watching it gave them a strength that they didn’t know they had,” she told NYT. “And that’s the thing I like most about the documentary. It really shows a strong woman standing up for herself and living through horror as well as some huge success.” Cutler has yet to address Stewart’s criticisms but has said he’s “really proud” of the film. “I admire Martha’s courage in entrusting me to make it. I’m not surprised that it’s hard for her to see aspects of it,” the director said.

Several people were arrested in Los Angeles after the Dodgers won the World Series on Wednesday for the eighth time in franchise history. Following the win, crowds took to the streets, with some becoming violent and looting stores, ABC 7 reported. Six people were arrested after a crowd broke into a Nike store downtown and stole merchandise. A total of 12 people were arrested during the night. There was also video of people throwing objects at police officers after they were told to leave an area, the Associated Press reported. Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Officer Drake Madison told the AP that people were arrested for failing to disperse, receiving stolen property, and commercial burglary. Just after midnight, a “hostile crowd”  surrounded a city bus. Metro officials told ABC that the bus driver and five passengers on board were able to evacuate before the bus was set on fire. Madison added that over the next couple of days, police will try to identify who was responsible for additional crimes. The Dodgers will hold a parade on Friday to celebrate their win over the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the World Series, the AP reported. The parade will be followed by a celebration at Dodger Stadium, but because of the timing of the events and inevitable downtown traffic, fans won’t be able to attend both events. The World Series began on a high note, with Freddie Freeman hitting a grand slam in Game 1 to give the Dodgers their first of three straight wins in the series. The Yankees won Game 4, but the Dodgers came back to clinch the series in Game 5. Freeman was named the series’ Most Valuable Player. The series was not without controversy, however. During Game 4, Yankees fans were ejected from the game for interfering with a catch made by Dodgers star Mookie Betts. Betts caught a foul ball hit by Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres, but a fan reached over the wall and tried to pry the ball out of Betts’ glove, The Daily Wire reported. Another Yankees fan then pulled on Betts’ arm, causing him to drop the ball.

Their dedication to a theme never disappoints. This Year’s “Today” Show Halloween Theme Was A Real Blockbuster The hosts chose “VHS Rewind” as the theme, and their costume selections were amazing. Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager dressed as Jack and Rose from Titanic. Savannah Guthrie was pretty in pink as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.
