Two new AMD Ryzen 9000X3D gaming CPUs have just been accidentally revealed

CPU cooling specialist Thermal Grizzly has just inadvertently revealed the existence of two new AMD Ryzen X3D gaming CPUs, after confirming which of its cooling products are compatible with the new chips. AMD has already revealed that it has a new Ryzen 9000X3D lineup coming soon, picking up from where the Ryzen 7 7800X3D left off, but it has so far been tight-lipped about the model names of these new chips. One of the two new AMD CPUs mentioned by Thermal Grizzly is the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is widely expected to be the best gaming CPU when it comes out. The AMD Ryzen 9000X3D release date is coming very soon in November 2024, and it may well include this new CPU, but the cooler manufacturer also mentions another X3D chip in its statement. Big Dying Light 2 update brings back the roguelike mode, and makes it way harder

Dying Light: The Beast might be on the way, but Dying Light 2 is still getting plenty of love from Techland as it launches a transformative update just in time for Halloween. Typically, we explore the zombie FPS at will, parkouring over obstacles and buildings, and eliminating the undead with whatever comes to hand. Now, the fantastic roguelike-style mode Tower Raid is back, offering a supremely tough challenge where anything goes. At the same time, Dying Light patch 1.19 overhauls the control scheme and makes weapon handling way more intuitive. While the first game is having a resurgence on Steam and rivals like Left 4 Dead and State of Decay remain popular, this is definitely the right time to give Dying Light 2 another shot. Avride rolls out its next-gen sidewalk delivery robots

Avride, the robotics company that spun out of Russian search giant Yandex, has a new sidewalk delivery robot to show off. The company currently operates a fleet of six-wheeled delivery robots in Austin, Texas, delivering Uber Eats orders to customers, as well as South Korea. Now Avride’s next generation model is shedding a couple of wheels — and showing big gains in efficiency. The new robot only has four wheels, which Avride says is more energy efficient than its six-wheeled model. The six-wheeled versions were simple to build, and could turn confidently on a variety of surfaces. But they also created a lot of friction, which ate up a lot of energy from the robot’s internal battery. The new four-wheeled designs are much more efficient... Continue reading…

Apple teased a Final Cut Pro update that’ll make you forget all about Capcut

During its M4 Mac mini video announcement this week, Apple revealed an upcoming Final Cut Pro update that will finally make it perfect for everyday content creators. Among the updates that were shown off, Apple plans to add AI video effects and caption generation to its professional video editing tool. In a section about the Mac mini improvements, Apple's product manager Shloka Kini said: "If you're upgrading from an Intel-based Mac mini, performance is up to 13 times faster with M4 for tasks like speech-to-text processing. So you can use AI to instantly apply video effects and generate captions for a ton of posts with the upcoming version of Final Cut Pro." With that, Final Cut Pro users will finally have an easier tool to transcribe the project's audio automatically. Currently, there's no easy way to add subtitles to a video. Users have to add captions on their own or use third-party apps. This future update, on the other hand, lets users use "Transcribe to Captions" to add subtitles instantly. This will be especially useful since the popular video editor app Capcut recently blocked access to automatic captions for free users – and its subscription prices are very high. Even though Final Cut Pro is paid software, editors can return to this all-in-one solution soon. For example, I usually edit videos on Apple's editor and then export them to Capcut just to have an automatically transcribed caption. When this software update becomes available, I can rest easy that Final Cut will be my only tool from beginning to end. At this moment, it's unclear when Apple will release this update and if it's going to be available for the iPad version as well. However, it shouldn't take long. With these new M4 Macs being released next Friday, I would assume Apple plans to release these features in the coming weeks. BGR will let you know once a software update is available for Final Cut Pro and what it brings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtFm9n3NVzE Don't Miss: 9 new M4 Mac mini features: Everything you need to know The post Apple teased a Final Cut Pro update that’ll make you forget all about Capcut appeared first on BGR.
