Is FBI Still Colluding With Big Tech to Interfere in Our Elections?

Four years ago this month, the FBI worked with Facebook and Twitter to suppress a New York Post story detailing the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, just weeks before the 2020 U.S. presidential election.…

Recipe of the Week: Storage Foods Granola

The following recipe for Storage Foods Granola is from SurvivalBlog reader Angie T..  She notes:  “This for making up bulk quantities of granola. The basic recipe makes 14 cups+ of granola, which is more than 5 pounds. But this recipe can easily be doubled or tripled, if need be.” Note that this recipe is gluten-free, if you use certified gluten-free rolled oats. (Any oats by themselves are gluten-free, but they must come from a facility that has no cross-contamination.) DRY BASE Ingredients 8 cups rolled oats (I use the gluten-free type) 1 cup chopped almonds 1/2 cup flax seeds 1/2 … The post Recipe of the Week: Storage Foods Granola appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.

Swiza D03 Pocket Knife, by Thomas Christianson

Swiza D03 Pocket Knife, by Thomas Christianson

With its locking blade, ergonomic shape, and easily gripped scales, the Swiza D03 is an attempt to update the venerable Swiss Army Knife into a modern everyday carry (EDC) knife. Unfortunately, its lack of ambidextrous one-handed-opening and a pocket-clip leave its performance lacking. For people who prefer a traditional pocket knife to a modern EDC knife, the D03 will be more than adequate. For people like me who prefer the ease of access and deployment provided by a pocket clip and a provision for ambidextrous one-handed opening, the D03 will fail to satisfy. The D03 had a manufacturer-suggested retail price … The post Swiza D03 Pocket Knife, by Thomas Christianson appeared first on SurvivalBlog.com.

Preparedness Notes for Monday — October 28, 2024

On October 28, 1640, English King Charles I signed a peace treaty with the Scottish Covenanters, ending the Second Bishops’ War. — October 28, 1831: Michael Faraday demonstrated his dynamo invention, an electrical generator. — The last day!  We’ve been running a 2-week-long sale at Elk Creek Company.  Until midnight PST tonight, October 28th, 2024, all of our pre-1899 shotguns have their prices deeply discounted. Most of these shotguns can fire modern 12 gauge 2-1/2″ or 2-3/4″ shotgun shells. Order soon! — Today’s feature article is a review by SurvivalBlog staffer Tom Christianson. Iran loses ‘entire air defence capabilities’ in Israeli strike - SKY NEWS AUSTRALIA

Former British commander Richard Kemp says Israel effectively “knocked out the entire air defence capabilities” of Iran during its strike. Four Iranian soldiers have reportedly been killed after Israel launched a series of retaliatory strikes against Iran. “The strike this morning was absolutely extraordinary,” Mr Kemp told Sky News Australia. “It included destroying air defence systems in Syria and Iraq, which are on the path to Iran, then destroying Iran’s air defence systems and effectively knocking out the entire air defence capabilities of Iran.” UTL COMMENT:- BTW Sky News promotes Israel in everything it does which pisses me off......that said the information presented here is still worthwhile to listen to....

A Day In Rock: October 28th, 2014: Allman Brothers Final Show

On this day ten years ago… The Allman Brothers Band played their final show, appropriately, at the Beacon Theatre in New York City where the band had an annual residency – they performed at the venue 238 times since ’89. The show came a day before the 43rd anniversary of guitarist Duane Allman’s death (in ’71) with Derek Trucks (a band member since ’99) playing Duane’s various guitars on the occasion. In early 2014, the Allman Brothers Band announced that they would disband before the end of the year. But before that happened, they performed a final run of six concerts at the Beacon Theatre. For the last show, they played an extended performance of three sets, with most of the songs selected from their first five albums. “Final Concert 10-28-14,” a three-CD package is expected to arrive next month.   The Allman Brothers Band were, at one point, the most frequent performer at the Beacon, appearing there nearly every year from 1989 to 2014. After their first performance in 1989, the band returned in 1992, 1994, and annually after 1996 – except for 2010 when the theater was hosting an extended run of Cirque du Soleil. ###   The post A Day In Rock: October 28th, 2014: Allman Brothers Final Show appeared first on RockinTown.
