Pat the slab dry with paper towels and trim off any dangly flaps of meat. 2. Season generously with a good rib rub, making sure to cover all sides. 3. Smoke (or bake) at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for a few hours until the internal meat temperature reaches 180 degrees. 4. Slather some BBQ sauce on the meat-side (or don't use any sauce if you prefer). Place the ribs meat-side down and wrap tightly in foil. 5. Continue smoking/baking at 275 degrees, until the internal temp reaches 200 degrees. 6. Remove from heat, and leave wrapped ribs alone to rest for 20-30 minutes. 7. Slice and enjoy! ------------------------------ 00:00 - Intro 00:59 - Trimming & Seasoning 03:13 - Oven Method 03:45 - Smoking Ribs 04:29 - Sauce vs. No Sauce 05:44 - Wrapping in Foil 06:35 - Resting & Slicing 07:32 - Tasting 08:24 - Conclusion ------------------------------ Great Lakes Country (formerly known as Great Lakes Prepping) is a Michigan-based YouTube channel that focuses on all things DIY, such as cooking, hunting, gardening, outdoor projects, prepping, and lots of other stuff.
