New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu said over the weekend that the Biden-Harris administration’s “Bidenomics” was coming back to bite Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail. Sununu made the remarks during a Sunday on ABC News’ “This Week,” after Martha Raddatz noted that voters overwhelmingly trust former President Donald Trump over Harris when it comes to the economy. Raddatz then tried to spread fear about Trump’s proposal to increase tariffs on products from China for national security reasons. “When it comes to the voter, where this election is going, no voter is voting on tariffs,” Sununu said. “It’s a very complex thing. When it comes to the economy, what that really means is, can I afford to bring my kids to McDonald’s? Can I afford to pay the rent?” “The economy really translates to a cost of living issue when it comes to people at the ballot box,” he said. “Now, if and when he becomes president, they’ll have to sort out the tariff issue. Is he using it for leverage against China, to ratchet things down, to force better negotiations? That will all play itself out, but the average voter doesn’t look at that stuff right now.” He said that it all comes down to can people buy the same amount of goods that they were able to four years ago. “And the ‘Bidenomics’ thing, I think, is really coming back to haunt Biden and Kamala Harris, especially,” he said. “When you’re told by the government, ‘You’re fine. Bidenomics is working for you’, it’s the worst form of gaslighting.” “It’s so condescending, because not all the ads or all the messages from a politician are going to tell you that your lived experience isn’t real,” he continued. “And for the average American, their lived experience is credit card bills and energy bills and things that they can’t afford. CBS News’ “60 Minutes” finally responded on Sunday night to the scandal that erupted two weeks ago when the show deceptively edited remarks from an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. The show claimed without providing evidence that the allegation that it deceitfully edited its interview with Harris was “false.” “60 Minutes gave an excerpt of our interview to Face the Nation that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes,” the statement claimed. “Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response.” The left-wing show claimed that the “portion of her answer on 60 Minutes was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment.” The show then took a petty shot at Trump: “Remember, Mr. Trump pulled out of his interview with 60 Minutes and the vice president participated.” CBS News could have exonerated itself from the avalanche of negative claims it has faced as a result of the scandal simply by releasing the full interview and transcript — it did not. The show had faced calls from media organizations, former CBS News journalists, U.S. Senators, and the Trump campaign to be transparent by releasing the full interview. The Trump campaign responded to CBS News’ statement by saying: 60 Minutes just admitted to doing exactly what President Trump accused them of doing. They edited in a different response – from another part of her answer – to make Kamala Harris sound less incoherent than she really was. Their statement is not a denial, it is an admission that they did exactly what they were accused of. This is another reminder of how hopelessly biased 60 Minutes is, and how correct President Trump was to decline their invitation to be subjected to their fake news hackery. Release the transcript! The moment in question came when host Bill Whitaker was discussing with Harris the United States’ financial support for Israel in its war against genocidal Islamic terrorists in the region. “But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening,” Whitaker said to Harris. Those words were not included anywhere in the television broadcast nor did they appear in the interview when it was posted on YouTube, the interview’s transcript, or the show’s “Overtime” segment. Democrat Rep. Barbara Lee (CA) and leftist MSNBC host Alex Witt attacked former President Donald Trump on Sunday for working at a McDonald’s and serving food to some of his supporters. Witt questioned what the logic was of Trump going to restaurant, which produced iconic photos and numerous clips that went viral online. “He has gone to a McDonald’s,” Witt said. “He’s going to this McDonald’s, and he’s in the Philadelphia area. He’s going to work a fryer, apparently, before he goes to the Steelers versus Jets game. If you’re on his campaign, and I know you are certainly not, I’m not making any implication of that. But, what is the logic behind this — going to a McDonald’s?” Lee responded: “There’s no logic to it.” “It’s a stunt. He has not put forth an economic agenda,” she falsely claimed. “He, as you know, appears to be not well. And, he’s engaged in some really bizarre types of activities during this campaign.” “So, this is just another one of those stunts that he will continue on through the campaign, and I think we really need to really focus on making sure that he is not elected of course,” she claimed. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said over the weekend that former President Donald Trump was right when he talks about the Democrat Party being the “enemy from within.” Graham made the remarks during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet The Press” with host Kristen Welker. “It is the enemy from within, and they’re very dangerous,” Trump said. “We have China, we have Russia, we have all these countries. If you have a smart president, they can all be handled. The more difficult are, you know, the Pelosis. These people, they’re so sick and they’re so evil.” Graham noted that the Democrats’ agenda “will change America fundamentally, that they want to pack the court, they want to go to 13-9, they want to eliminate the Electoral College.” “They want to make D.C. and Puerto Rico states,” he said. “So yeah, I think their agenda’s really radical. But when you talk about rhetoric, you’ve got to remember, they tried to blow his head off. There’s one candidate in this race who’s been shot at and hit in the ear, and we’re lucky they didn’t blow his head off. Vice President Kamala Harris’s big media week featured friendly visits as well as a couple of rough spots. However, the Democrat nominee was assured a super-soft landing this week by sitting down with race arsonist-turned MSNBC host Al Sharpton. We watched Harris’s sitdown with Rev so you don’t have to. The interview opens with Harris being offered another opportunity to differentiate herself from the Biden Administration, specifically on foreign policy.
