Vice President Kamala Harris repeatedly refused to apologize to the families of young women who were murdered by illegal aliens who were released into the United States because of the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies. The moment came during a contentious Fox News interview with anchor Bret Baier in what was the first real interview that Harris has had to participate in during this election cycle in which she was forced to answer questions. Baier mentioned three of the most notable names of young woman who were brutally assaulted and murdered by criminal illegal aliens in the U.S. “Jocelyn Nungaray, Rachel Morin, Laken Riley,” he said. “They are young women who were brutally assaulted and killed by some of the men who were released at the beginning of the administration, well before a negotiated bipartisan bill.” “Former President Clinton actually referred to Laken Riley Sunday campaigning for you in Georgia, saying if those men had been properly vetted, Laken Riley probably would not have been killed,” he said. “This is well before Donald Trump got involved in the politics. This is a specific policy decision by your administration to release these men into the country.” “Do you owe those families an apology?” he asked. “Let me just say, first of all, those are tragic cases,” Harris responded. “There’s no question about that. There is no question about that. And I can’t imagine the pain that the families of those victims have experienced for a loss that should not have occurred. So that is true.” She then falsely suggested that the border bill not being passed nine months ago would have played a factor in the killings of those women, even though Baier already noted that it would not have. “Madam Vice President, it was a policy decision in the early part of your administration,” he said. “I will let one of the mothers talk about it.” Baier then played a clip of Jocelyn Nungaray’s mother talking about the how the Biden-Harris administration was responsible for what happened to her daughter: ALEXIS NUNGARAY: “Because of the Biden-Harris administration open border policies, catch-and-release, they were enrolled in the alternatives to detention program. This meant that they were released into the United States. It was not even a full three weeks later that they would take my daughter Jocelyn Nungaray’s life. I believe the Biden-Harris administration open border policies are responsible for the death of my daughter.” “That’s the early days,” Baier noted. “So do you owe them an apology?” Harris again refused to answer the question: “I will tell that I am so sorry for her loss. I’m so sorry for her loss. Sincerely. But let’s talk about what is happening right now with an individual who does not want to participate in solutions. Let’s talk about that as well.” “But do you want to answer?” Baier pressed again. Anchor Bret Baier asked Harris about many of the far-Left positions that she has taken on illegal immigration in the past, including supporting “allowing immigrants in the country illegally to apply for driver’s license, to qualify for free tuition at universities, [and] to be enrolled in free health care.” When asked if she still supported those things, Harris did not answer the question. “Listen, that was five years ago, and I’m very clear that I will follow the law,” she claimed. “I have made that statement over and over again, and as Vice President of the United States, that’s exactly what I’ve done, not to mention before.” Baier noted that the running mate she chose, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), signed those very things into law in his state. “So do you support that?” Baier pushed. “We are very clear, and I am very clear, as is Tim Walz, that we must support and enforce federal law, and that is exactly what we will do,” she claimed. When asked when she finally was able to admit to herself that the situation on the southern border was a crisis, Harris deflected and claimed that it was this way during former President Donald Trump’s administration, which is false. A 15-year-old girl who had pleaded guilty for her part in the brutal beating death of a disabled elderly man testified that she and her friends killed him because they were bored.Five girls were arrested for allegedly beating 64-year-old Reggie Brown and leaving him to die in an alleyway in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 17, 2023. 'They then stomped on his head and one recorded the beating on her cellphone.' Detective Harry Singleton said that the fight was initiated by a man in his 20s, who attacked Brown before the girls came up and asked if they could beat the man as well. That video was played in court at trial against the girls. “Damn, you leakin’!” said one girl in the recording to the bleeding victim. One 12-year-old and two 13-year-old females were arrested in March over the incident, and two other girls were arrested in July, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old. All were charged with second-degree murder. The oldest suspect pleaded guilty to the lower charge of assault with a dangerous weapon in exchange for cooperating with the investigation and accepting a sentence of three years in a juvenile detention facility. In her testimony, the 15-year-old said she had suggested to the group that they look for someone to beat up because they were bored. She said that Brown's pants were pulled off during the beating, and police said he was beaten with his own belt. She also testified that she realized the man had died when they walked away from the scene of the crime. A medical examiner determined that Brown had died from blunt force trauma to the head that caused brain bleeding. If convicted, the two girls at trial could face a maximum sentence of detainment at a juvenile facility until they turn 18 years old, according to D.C. law. The trial judge announced that a second girl of the remaining two arrested had also pleaded guilty, but no other details were released. One of Brown's relatives previously demanded justice for the man. "My uncle really didn’t deserve this. He was known in this community for years so for this to happen where he lived for 64 [years] is insane. They have to be held accountable!” said his niece.
