Leftists rally with glee after activist woman who allegedly tried to flush stillborn baby down toilet not indicted

Leftists across the country are rallying both literally and figuratively behind an Ohio woman who avoided a grand jury indictment even after she allegedly attempted to flush her stillborn child down the toilet and then just went about "her day."On Thursday‚ a grand jury in Trumbull County declined to indict 34-year-old Brittany Watts for felony abuse of a corpse‚ a crime that carries a sentence of a year in prison and a $2‚500 fine. The accusations against Watts are gut-wrenching. According to reports‚ Watts had gone to a Catholic hospital in her hometown of of Warren‚ Ohio‚ about an hour southeast of Cleveland‚ multiple times in the days leading up to her miscarriage. On one occasion‚ a doctor allegedly told her that her unborn child‚ who was then 22 weeks along‚ was not viable and advised her to have labor induced to avoid "significant risk" of death.Though the date has not been reported‚ at some point‚ Watts miscarried in a toilet. Reports indicate that Watts then scooped at least some of her stillborn child's remains out of the toilet and placed them outside near her garage. A nurse later reported to police that Watts had placed the baby in a "bucket‚" court documents said.Yet some of the baby's remains remained in the toilet‚ and Watts allegedly attempted to flush them away. She apparently didn't succeed because those remains reportedly ended up clogging the toilet. Watts then allegedly left those remains there to go to a previously scheduled hair appointment."The issue isn’t how the child died‚ when the child died‚" prosecutor Lewis Guarnieri argued in court. "It’s the fact that the baby was put into a toilet‚ large enough to clog up a toilet‚ left in that toilet‚ and she went on [with] her day."Even Watts and her attorney‚ Traci Timko‚ have had to acknowledge the solemn nature of the situation. "I am grieving the loss of my baby‚" Watts later told the Washington Post. "I feel anger‚ frustration and‚ at times‚ shameful.""No matter how shocking or disturbing it may sound when presented in a public forum‚ it is simply the devastating reality of miscarriage‚" Timko said in a statement.Despite Watts' seemingly apathetic treatment of her baby‚ the grand jury decided not to indict her‚ prompting leftists to erupt with glee. In fact‚ activists had already planned a "We Stand with Brittany!" rally in the courthouse square. After the decision not to indict‚ the group of 150 supporters — carrying signs that claimed the prosecutors had engaged in "abuse of power" and that the "real crimes" against Watts were "sexism‚" "racism‚" and "political extremism" — were able to turn the event into a victory celebration.Whether Watts has always been an activist or has just become one after the miscarriage‚ she told rally attendees that she felt compelled to join their "fight." "I want to thank my community — Warren. Warren‚ Ohio‚" she said‚ smiling. "I was born here. I was raised here. I graduated high school here‚ and I’m going to continue to stay here because I have to continue to fight."She has also expressed hope that her case will be an "impetus to change‚" her lawyer claimed. Other leftist groups are standing in solidarity with Watts‚ whom they view as another black‚ female victim of systemic injustice. "What happened to Brittany Watts is a grave example of how Black women and their bodies face legal threats simply for existing‚" said Dr. Regina Davis Moss‚ the president and CEO of Our Own Voice‚ a racially minded‚ pro-abortion organization. "Her story is one that is becoming alarmingly common: in states with abortion restrictions‚ Black women‚ girls‚ and gender-expansive people are being surveilled‚ arrested‚ prosecuted and punished for pregnancy loss."Sarah Jones‚ a writer for New York magazine's Intelligencer outlet‚ claimed that by treating Watts' stillborn baby as a person‚ prosecutors were promoting a "pernicious ideology" that denied "Watts’s own personhood." "When agents of the law treat the fetus as a person — an infant or a child‚ in the words of the nurse and the prosecutor — the woman bearing it becomes something else. She is not quite human; she is a mere vessel."Jones then quoted Watts referring to her stillborn baby as a "baby."Timko claimed that the grand jury's decision was "justice." "While Brittany’s fight for freedom is over‚ she stands with women everywhere and will use her story and experience to educate and push for legislation to ensure no other woman in the State of Ohio will have to put healing from grief and trauma on a back burner to fight for her freedom and reputation‚" she said.Like Blaze News? Political cosplay at ESPN has worn out its welcome

The past eight years have proven one thing when it comes to corporate sports media: It is impossible to be a courageous truth-teller and dutiful company man at the same time. This is one of my takeaways from Jason Whitlock’s crusade against some of the most popular names in sports‚ including Stephen A. Smith. Smith had social media buzzing after recording a profanity-laced response to questions Whitlock raised about the face of ESPN’s new memoir. I hope sports personalities like Smith finally start to realize that their days of LARPing as a cross between Huey P. Newton and Howard Cosell are over. The revolution has been corporatized‚ and even Stevie Wonder can see that on-air commentators have partisan limits on what they can say. ESPN has been involved in politics and cultural movements for a long time. The network gave Bruce Jenner the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYS for “coming out” as a transgender woman named “Caitlyn.” A steady stream of athletes and analysts spent years trying to convince viewers that Colin Kaepernick was a freedom fighter after he started kneeling in 2016 to protest racial injustice during the national anthem. It is still far easier for someone in corporate sports media to call a Republican a “white supremacist” than it is to call Lia Thomas a man. Social and political commentary from ESPN personalities and other sports media figures amped up considerably in 2020 after the death of George Floyd and the spread of COVID-19. Jemele Hill appeared on MSNBC to talk about racism in NASCAR after a rope found in Bubba Wallace’s garage was described as a “noose” and investigated as a hate crime by the FBI. As a sign of how quickly the winds of culture can change‚ Orlando Magic power forward Jonathan Isaac had to explain in 2020 why he chose to stand during the national anthem. Malika Andrews facilitated an on-air therapy session for two former NBA players after Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of murder charges. Stephen A. Smith tried to lead a national conversation on race after a Duke volleyball player accused BYU fans of hurling racial slurs at her during a game. Elle Duncan criticized the state of Florida on the air in March 2022 for a bill to prevent elementary school teachers from talking to young children about sexual orientation and gender identity. She later posted an ESPN-produced clip to Twitter asking why more “girl dads” weren’t standing up to ensure their daughters could abort their grandchildren. Mina Kimes took to “Around the Horn” to support natal males in girls’ sports. The show’s host‚ Tony Reali‚ ended the clips with the familiar slogan “trans rights are human rights‚” before walking off the set. Transgender ideology shows just how compromised corporate media mouthpieces truly are. People who make a living dissecting the performance of highly skilled athletes go blind‚ deaf‚ and mute when it comes to physical differences between men and women. Even though Jemele Hill was suspended by the network in 2017 for criticizing President Trump on Twitter‚ it is still far easier for someone in corporate sports media to call a Republican a “white supremacist” than it is to call Lia Thomas a man. This is one reason ESPN trotted out a veteran female anchor last year to celebrate the Penn swimmer who saw himself as the “Jackie Robinson of trans sports.” This was no coincidence. The worldwide leader in sports has repeatedly used its time‚ talent‚ and treasure to promote progressive political propaganda — all while claiming to speak truth to power. Sports media personalities have gotten high on their own supply. They thought a working knowledge of athletics made them experts on other complex topics. But mastering the intricacies of a Cover 2 defense and understanding the goals of Karl Marx are not the same thing. They also believed predictable takes on racial issues would fool the masses into thinking they stand for truth no matter the cost. COVID-19 shattered that illusion. A long list of influential voices in sports — including Michael Wilbon and Charles Barkley — use their platforms to chastise Kyrie Irving and other athletes who didn’t want to take the COVID shots. Wilbon’s command to “put a shot in your arm!” must have made the executives at both ESPN and Pfizer beam with pride. Despite his righteous indignation‚ neither Wilbon nor any other sports media figure could speak to the long-term side effects of the COVID shots. But ignorance has never stopped the arrogant before.None of ESPN’s social justice commentators could have predicted that Kaepernick was a police and prison abolitionist. None ever asked why Black Lives Matter’s co-founders wanted to destroy the nuclear family. None ever explain why a man who thinks he is a woman should be accepted as one in a female-only locker room. Compare the network’s promotion of its most dutiful script-readers to how it treated Sage Steele. The former ESPN personality was told to stop tweeting about Lia Thomas and supporting female athletes like Riley Gaines. Why? Because some of her colleagues felt uncomfortable with her publicly acknowledging the most basic facts about human biology. Steele left ESPN last year after she settled a lawsuit she filed against the company. This is the way it works in the influence industrial complex. If there is one thing I’ve learned from being married to a woman with a green thumb‚ it’s that plants grow toward the sun. Corporate media is no different. The people who obey their overlords can cosplay as revolutionaries while capitalizing on attention and opportunities. Those who don’t play along are ostracized internally and ridiculed publicly. It’s a cruel game‚ but at some point‚ everyone has to decide whether sacrificing truth is worth the payday.

Jonathan Turley reveals how Hunter Biden's trial could 'trip some wires' and ensnare President Biden

Law professor Jonathan Turley explained on Thursday how Hunter Biden's legal woes could ensnare his father‚ President Joe Biden. On Thursday‚ the first son was arraigned in federal court for nine charges related to tax crimes associated with Hunter's overseas business dealings. Hunter pleaded not guilty to the charges. With no plea deal on the table‚ the case is headed to trial. To prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt‚ prosecutors may take a dive deep into the complicated money trail connected to Hunter's businesses‚ which Turley believes could ultimately ensnare the president."When you look at this indictment — the twists and bends they take — is it really rivals Nadia Comaneci‚ the gymnast. This is an indictment that carefully avoids bringing up the influence peddling‚ corruption scandal‚ and its basis. It can’t avoid it to some extent because some of these unindicted figures are‚ in fact‚ Biden family members‚" Turley said on Fox News."But the Department of Justice has avoided opening up a special counsel investigation of influence peddling. They have avoided charging him on [the Foreign Agent Registration Act]‚ which many of us don't understand‚ that he was an unregistered foreign agent‚" he continued."All of those moves have served to protect the president. It's insulated the president to a degree in these trials‚" he said. "So they indeed may trip some wires because it's very hard to deal with some of these issues without acknowledging that the funds were coming from a massive influence-peddling scheme. But so far‚ they seem to be intent to try and avoid doing that."And yet‚ the indictment — nine counts related to tax fraud — is "light‚" Turley explained."Because the Department of Justice allowed the statute of limitations to run [out] on early tax violations going back to 2014. It has never explained why‚" he said."It was warned internally by the IRS whistleblowers ... that you're allowing the statute of limitations to run‚ and they could have easily extended it‚ and they have never explained why they did that‚" Turley continued. "But some of those early taxes are the most damaging‚ potentially‚ for the president."Hunter's trial is scheduled to begin on June 20‚ 2024. Like Blaze News? Florida stands alone against deadly COVID shots

Florida stands alone against deadly COVID shots

Florida for two years has recommended against taking the COVID-19 shots. Now state officials are calling for them to be taken off the market entirely. And yet‚ to this day‚ no other red state has joined the fight against a product that was shoved down our throats like nothing before in history and has likely led to untold numbers of people “dying suddenly.” Nearly every red-state health department continues to serve as a conduit for the Centers for Disease Control. Public health officials echo and augment their maniacal guidance on COVID shots or the next dangerous product in the biomedical security pipeline. It’s as if the past two years of studies and accumulated data points showing COVID shots damage every corner of the body never existed. Florida has already been warning about the cardiac problems associated with the vaccines. Now‚ state Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo is calling for the mRNA shots to be taken off the market because of DNA contaminants and possible carcinogens that have been found in the concoction. Based on several research papers that came to light last year‚ Ladapo warned in an open letter to the heads of the CDC and FDA that Simian Virus 40 promoter/enhancer DNA and “lipid nanoparticle complexes” could pose a “heightened risk of DNA integration into human cells.” I am calling for a halt to the use of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. — (@) “If the risks of DNA integration have not been assessed for mRNA COVID-19 vaccines‚ these vaccines are not appropriate for use in human beings‚” Ladapo wrote. “It is my hope that‚ in regard to COVID-19‚ the FDA will one day seriously consider its regulatory responsibility to protect human health‚ including the integrity of the human genome.” The studies showing these shots are dangerous are so voluminous at this point that Ladapo referred to the vaccines as “the antichrist of all products.” This comes on top of findings that the shots produce random junk proteins‚ that the spike causes autoimmune problems by binding to C4 immune cells‚ and that as many as half of the shot’s recipients potentially never stop producing spike proteins. Last year‚ biologist Kevin McKernan found DNA plasmid contamination in the mRNA shots. He also found parts of the SV40 genetic sequence‚ which has been associated with cancer. Global drug regulatory agencies have conceded the discovery but refuse to raise awareness or concern about the problems and have shown no desire to study the contamination issue further‚ let alone pull the shots from the market. All the while‚ evidence is mounting that “excess deaths” remain elevated throughout the United States and other developed countries. Yet despite everything we now know‚ Florida is still the only state to treat the shots like the abortions they are. Many red states simply parrot CDC guidance and even urge people to get more jabs! For example‚ the Arkansas Department of Health‚ citing the CDC‚ recommends‚ "Everyone aged 5 years and older should get 1 dose of the updated Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.” Alaska takes it a step further: “Protect yourself and your community by staying up to date with your vaccines. COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months and older.” Ditto for Indiana‚ Wyoming‚ Oklahoma‚ Iowa‚ Missouri‚ West Virginia‚ and Idaho. Under its “updated COVID-19 vaccine information” page‚ the Tennessee Department of Health states: … these vaccines protect against the COVID-19 variants currently circulating during the 2023-2024 respiratory virus season. Everyone 6 months and older should get a COVID-19 vaccine regardless of whether they’ve received any original COVID-19 vaccine(s). COVID-19 vaccines can help protect against severe illness‚ hospitalization‚ and death from COVID-19. So clearly‚ this is not just a leftover page from 2021. Shockingly‚ South Carolina public health authorities continue to recommend taking the new booster even after reviewing “the available data.” What data did they review‚ exactly? The fact is that most red-state health directors are indistinguishable from Anthony Fauci and blue-state officials despite having Republican governors. They are more aligned with Trump Surgeon General Jerome Adams than Joe Ladapo. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton deserves credit for suing Pfizer for fraud. Unfortunately‚ Governor Greg Abbott has failed to lead on this issue‚ and the Texas Health Department is still promoting the shots‚ while the Texas Medical Board is sanctioning doctors who didn’t wear masks. Thankfully‚ few people are still listening to this genocidal advice. More Americans are avoiding the shots‚ which is why Pfizer’s stock price is plummeting. But it is still important for red-state legislatures to demand their governments stop promoting these shots. Pregnant women are being brainwashed to get the shots for themselves and their newborn children‚ and some might be inclined to listen to the government's misinformation‚ given the heightened concern surrounding pregnancy. Authorities also continue to bomb vulnerable seniors with these shots. Additionally‚ many red states have still not completely banned mandates‚ including hospital requirements for organ transplant patients or medical and nursing school students. It's also vital for states to cut ties with the CDC as it promotes new dangerous shots‚ such as the RSV jabs for kids and seniors. A few New Hampshire Republicans have introduced a bill to ban the state from promoting CDC policies. Finally‚ red states need to oppose the shots in order to build momentum for much-needed liability reform so we can start holding these companies accountable‚ obtain authentic data on the safety and efficacy of existing vaccines‚ and abolish the concept of the CDC’s child immunization schedule as a one-size-fits-all mandate on every child born. Even without mandates‚ we should never tolerate red-state governments promoting a death shot. Republican states would never promote abortions even though they are not mandated because they are murder. Killing the already born with a government-created poison is certainly not a lesser evil.

Is Biden's Houthi strike connected to the 2024 election?

The United States and United Kingdom have carried out strikes against the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen — and Rep. Thomas Massie believes he knows why. “You should look at it as this is election season‚ and when you’re at war‚ you know‚ there’s a greater tendency to vote for the commander in chief who’s waging the war‚” Massie explains to Glenn Beck. “And I am worried that he’s going to draw us into a war with this‚” he adds. Meanwhile‚ Biden didn’t fulfill what Massie believes was an obligation of his. “He has an obligation to come to Congress‚ and I think he had time to do it. If he had time to organize an international coalition‚ or at least with Great Britain‚ to pull this off‚ he had time to come to us‚” Massie says. The War Powers Act requires Biden to do that‚ unless he is responding defensively in the case of an emergency. “The War Powers Act is correct in a world where we have missiles. If somebody’s launching a missile‚ the president does not have time to go to Congress and say‚ ‘Hey I want to make my case here that in 12 minutes we’re all going to be vaporized‚’” Glenn says. However‚ as Massie said‚ it’s been over 90 days since this fighting has begun. “The president has a responsibility to go in front of the American people and Congress and make his case; and Congress needs to decide‚” Glenn says. “You are absolutely correct‚” Massie agrees. Want more from Glenn Beck?To enjoy more of Glenn’s masterful storytelling‚ thought-provoking analysis‚ and uncanny ability to make sense of the chaos‚ subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America‚ defend the Constitution‚ and live the American dream.
