A 25 year old Michigan man is in federal custody following threats to kill President Trump — and conservative Christians who support him — if he were to win the election.  The man claimed to have weapons and ammunition, and oddly enough some type of “chemical irritant”. A 25-year-old man has been charged in federal court after threatening to kill former President Donald Trump and Christian conservatives if Trump wins the election. Isaac Sissel was arrested the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 5 after an anonymous online submission to the FBI National Threat Operations Center indicated he planned to carry out an attack against conservative Christians. “I have a stolen ar15 (sic) and a target I refuse to name so I can continue to get away with my plans,” the threat read in part, according to court records. “Without a specific victim or ability to find the place I hid the gun, there’s not a thing the FBI can do until I complete the attack.” The submission also indicated that whoever made the complaint had a firearm, hollow point ammunition and a chemical irritant, according to court records. Officials used phone records and an IP address to connect the submission to Sissel, according to court records. Sissel has also been connected to several Reddit accounts with usernames like “ShootUpTrumpRally,” “PlanningToShootTrump” and “WillShootTrumpSoon,” according to court records. According to court records, on November 2, 2024, the FBI National Threat Operations Center in West Virginia intercepted an anonymous online message containing a detailed threat. In the message, Sissel allegedly declared his intent to carry out an attack if the 2024 election resulted in a win for former President Donald Trump. FBI agents apprehended Sissel this morning, and he is expected to appear in federal court later this afternoon to face these charges. The case is currently under investigation by the FBI Detroit Field Office, which is working to gather further details on Sissel’s plans and any other potential threats. CBS News is actually reporting that two different Michigan men have been arrested, one of which was Sissel.  The other man appears to have been arrested in a completely different instance of threatening a political action committee with threatening emails. Two Michigan men have been arrested for allegedly making election threats in two separate incidents, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said on Tuesday. According to federal criminal complaints, a 46-year-old man from Jackson allegedly sent two threatening emails to a political action committee (PAC) on Oct. 2, while a 25-year-old man from Ann Arbor allegedly threatened to “shoot conservative Christians” if Trump wins the election a few days before Election Day. These and incidents like them seem to be unfortunately “normalized” in the current political climate, with Hitler comparisons and Nazi references becoming increasingly normal from democratic party leaders.

Milwaukee election officials are recounting nearly 30,000 absentee ballots after an error was discovered with tabulator seals. Milwaukee spokesman Jeff Flemming stated, “We have no reason to believe that there was any compromise to any of the machines.” He added, “But because they were not fully sealed, human error, and not fully sealed, we are going to zero them all out again, the 13 machines around, and then re-run the ballots that had already been processed.” Fleming added, “It is gonna extend the time that we will get the totals here, we don’t know how much longer that will be. The recounting was being done “out of an abundance of caution,” said Melissa Howard, spokesperson for the Milwaukee Election Commission. There was no reason to believe that any ballots already counted had been tampered with, she said. Howard said they were taking the step of recounting all of the ballots in an effort to be “completely, fully transparent.” The problem was due to human error, she said. The decision will delay the reporting of about 105,000 absentee ballots that could determine whether Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump win Wisconsin.

President Joe Biden’s obvious cognitive decline and a string of gaffes in recent weeks have only made Kamala Harris’ path to the White House even more treacherous, so perhaps it isn’t all that surprising that he wasn’t among those in attendance at the vice president’s election night watch party on Tuesday. Nevertheless, Biden’s absence appeared to highlight the growing rift between Biden and Harris. According to the Daily Wire: Biden will be watching the results just two miles away, in what appears to be the latest snub between the president and Harris. “Tonight, the president and First Lady will watch election results in the White House residence with longtime aides and senior White House staff,” a White House official told the Washington Examiner. “The president will receive regular updates on the state of races across the country.” Harris’ election night watch party is being held at her alma mater, Howard University, which is located in Washington, D.C., less than two miles from the White House. Throughout Harris’ brief presidential campaign, Biden has appeared to subtly undermine the woman he previously picked to be his running mate, The Daily Wire reported. According to BBC: Musk, the owner of Tesla and X, has been aggressively campaigning for the Republican candidate in swing states across the country. Trump’s campaign is hosting watch parties including at his Mar-a-Lago home and also Palm Beach Convention Center for thousands of supporters. It is not clear which events Trump and Musk will attend, but a source familiar with Musk’s plans told CBS the pair will be together. Earlier, Trump said he was going to host “a very special group of people, many of whom you know” in Mar-a-Lago. “In addition we’ll have four or five thousand people at the convention center,” he said, speaking to reporters as he arrived to cast his ballot in Florida. He said he would potentially go over to the convention center later on.
