Record producer Quincy Jones recently passed away at the age of 91, but this did not stop fans from discussing his unhinged remarks about other celebrities in the media. Jones made shocking revelations against late pop star Michael Jackson and even the late former U.S. president JFK.  Since Jones built a reputation around making these false claims, he was silently set aside by the black community. He once apologized for his conduct via a lengthy tweet as he asked for a second chance to do better. As fans and supporters take in Frank Fritz’s passing from a month ago, a source revealed details about his struggle with opioid addictions, which was the reason he got fired from American Pickers in 2021. Fritz left the show to undergo back surgery in 2020; however, he never returned, leaving his partners, Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby, to carry on the program. Fritz was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in the ‘90s, though it took him years to make it public in 2013. His treatment included medication that weakened his bones, hence, when he broke his back, he had to do surgery. Fritz became addicted to his painkillers and, eventually, alcohol. Fritz conceded, issuing a public statement in response to being fired while looking back on his friendship with Mike. Mike allegedly cut communication with Fritz during this time, as he admitted in recent interviews that they had been estranged since Fritz’s last episode. The ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland’s Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz are being put up for auction by Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas, with early bidding starting at £425,000. The lucky collector will go home with the prized pair of shoes on December 7, at a potential payment of  £1.5m. The sequined low-heeled shoes are one of five pairs and were worn by Garland at 17 for the ‘30s classic, with her name also written on the inside. They will be sold alongside Margaret Hamilton’s Wicked Witch Hat, which is estimated at  £77,000.
