The Beatles album Brian Wilson said he can’t live without

The Beach Boys and The Beatles achieved fame during the era and became rivals in terms of songwriting. Although they were good friends, there was a songwriting rivalry that always pushed them to try to come up with someone better, whenever one of the groups released something really good. Brian Wilson, the mastermind behind the success of the band in the 60s, especially with the release of the groundbreaking album "Pet Sounds" (1966), always was a huge Beatles fan. Over the decades he talked a lot about the Fab Four and even revealed which is their album he can't live without. The Beatles album Brian Wilson said he can't live without The Beatles album that Brian Wilson likes so much that he can't live without is "Revolver", released by them in 1966, which curiously had the song "Here, There and Everywhere" that McCartney once said it was inspired after he heard the track "God Only Knows", released by the the Beach Boys on "Pet Sounds" that same year. Wilson said that in an interview with Spin in 2021. “What the heck is not to love? It’s some of Paul’s best work. His vocals are amazing,” Wilson said. "Revolver" was The Beatles seventh studio album and had many famous tracks. Some of them are “Taxman”, “Eleanor Rigby”, “Yellow Submarine”, “And Your Bird Can Sing” and “Tomorrow Never Knows”. It's the continuation of The Beatles' psychedelic period that started with "Rubber Soul" (1965) and finished with "Magical Mystery Tour" (1967). How The Beatles inspired The Beach Boys and then were inspired by the American band [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuS5NuXRb5Y&pp=ygUNZWxlYW5vciByaWdieQ%3D%3D[/embed] Two classic Rock and Roll albums which were extremely important for music couldn't have been the same with The Beatles and Beach Boys. The reason is that in 1965 the British band released the album "Rubber Soul", which inspired Brian Wilson tremendously. It was a huge influence for the artist and led him to try to come up with something better and having no fear to experiment. The result was the groundbreaking album "Pet Sounds" (1966), which would later inspire not only a few songs of "Revolver" (1966). But also the most experimental Beatles record: "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (1967). What Paul McCartney said about "Pet Sounds" inspiration Talking with The Rolling Stones‘ guitarist Ronnie Wood on his TV show in 2013 (Transcribed by Rock and Roll Garage), Paul McCartney revealed that his favorite Beach Boys song is “God Only Knows”. The two musicians ended up singing the song together on stage many decades after its release. McCartney also recalled how “Pet Sounds” inspired him. “You know, Brian Wilson sort of proved himself to be like a really amazing composer. I was into chords, harmonies and stuff at that time. We ended up with this kind of rivalry.” “We put a song out, Brian would hear it and he’d do one. Which is nice, like me and John, you know. We kind of try to top each other all the time. But he eventually came out with ‘God Only Knows’. That was a sound stomper on ‘Pet Sounds’. I just think it’s a great song. Melody, harmonies, words. It’s a great song, I love it. It’s my favorite Beach Boys song," Paul McCartney said. Adrian Smith reveals his current favorite Iron Maiden song to play

Iron Maiden is currently in the beginning of their "Future Past Tour 2024" and besides playing hits and b-sides, the band is also promoting the material of their most recent album "Senjutsu" (2021). The guitarist Adrian Smith revealed in a short video released by the band which is his current favorite song to play on stage with Maiden. Adrian Smith reveals his current favorite Iron Maiden song to play "My favorite song on 'The Future Past' set has been… Wow, this has been one of my favorite (tours) because I get a lot of room to express myself with my guitar playing. I've got a lot of solos, a lot of songs in the set. So, wow, 'The Writing On The Wall' is a good one. I like that." "When you play that opening chord, just a simple chord on the guitar, on the acoustic, the venue just goes quiet and they're, like, 'What's coming next?' I love that. And I love that pause. So that's always a good song to play. And it gives me a bit more room, because it's not so frantic pacing-wise. There's a bit more space for me to sort of put a bit more feel into it. So, I do enjoy that song," Adrian Smith said. The band is currently formed by Adrian Smith (Guitar), Janick Gers (Guitar), Dave Murray (Guitar), Nicko McBrain (Drums), Bruce Dickinson (Vocals) and Steve Harris (Bass). Graham Bonnet went to see Iron Maiden and praised the band

Former Rainbow, Alcatrazz, and Michael Schenker vocalist Graham Bonnet attended Iron Maiden's show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on October 8 and loved it. The musician described his experience on a post made on his Instagram page, saying that he liked the pre-show song, UFO's "Doctor Doctor", which he used to sing with Michael Schenker. He had backstage passes and had the chance to see the band and take a picture with Bruce Dickinson. Graham Bonnet went to see Iron Maiden and praised the band "Last night, Beth-Ami, Conrado, Levi (Beth-Ami’s son) and I attended the Iron Maiden “Future Past” show at the Kia Forum. It was an almost indescribable event. From the moment we arrived and picked up our tickets and passes and were ushered into the Forum Club, it was perfection. We arrived early enough to see friends, have a nice dinner and then it was time for the show. I’m always thrown when UFO’s Doctor, Doctor comes on. I sang that with the Michael Schenker Fest and it takes a minute to register. I even asked Beth-Ami “what is this song, it sounds so familiar. " "Then Maiden hit the stage and it was like a gut punch (in a good way). The band is on fire from the first note, delivering a blistering performance from start to finish. Bruce is the consummate frontman with his almost thespian like physical performance all while belting out hit after hit. I was so impressed with the entire band. After the show, we headed back to the Forum Club for a quick visit with Bruce and his lovely wife Leana." "They both were so hospitable and engaging, we didn’t want to leave but there were loads of guests. So we grabbed a few photos and then we were on our way. on the way home, we all talked about what a stupendous show it was. I can’t even believe that they are going to do the show again tonight. The amount of energy that they expend nightly is unfathomable. I want to express my gratitude to Bruce, Leana and all the Iron Maiden gang for giving us this unforgettable night. Thank you all, ♥️" Graham Bonnet said. Alex Van Halen shares touching tribute to his late brother

For a few decades already the drummer the Van Halen drummer and co-founder Alex Van Halen became the most recluse member of the band and rarely gave interviews. After years without saying a lot in social media or to the press, the drummer will release an autobiography, next October 22, called “Brothers”, which will also talk about his late legendary brother and bandmate Eddie Van Halen. An excerpt of the audiobook version (Narrated by Alex himself - Transcribed by Blabbermouth) called "Overture" was released. He said that it feels is wrong that he didn't die first, since he is the older brother. Eddie Van Halen passed away in 2020 at the age of 65 after years battling cancer. Read the Alex Van Halen touching tribute to his late brother Eddie "Without my brother I would not be. We fight, argue, we even argue about agreeing on things, but there is a bond and unconditional love that very few people ever experienced in a lifetime. Music was our heart and soul. That's what we did. That's what we loved. That's what we enjoyed. And that's what we were good at. It was also the thing that made us as close as two brothers can be. We were connected in every way — genetically, artistically, financially, emotionally, and though neither of us stuck with Catholicism, I'm going to go ahead and say spiritually. It's very difficult to unwind that. It's been almost four years since you passed, Ed, but sometimes it feels like it just happened this morning. "One of my earliest memories — I couldn't have been more than two — is of our mother telling me to be quiet so I wouldn't wake you, my new baby brother. You weren't just younger, you were more introverted, more impressionable, and more sensitive than I was — always… You couldn't filter out criticism or adulation for that matter. Everything just got right to you. People always talk about that smile of yours, the smile of a little kid. Open." He continued: "It wasn't just the way you looked. That was you. That sensitivity is part of what made you a brilliant musician. The world's greatest guitarist is what everyone says. It's kind of a dicey title. You never liked it. I can tell you this much, saying you're the greatest implies there are many more like you. But there is only one, Edward Van Halen. You could play just a single note and it sounded different, distinct. Miles Davis said it's not the notes, it's the intent. It's that intangible essence that makes the difference between one sound and another." "From the first time you picked up a guitar — my guitar, actually — the resonance and intonation were unique," Alex continued. "Long before people were going crazy for your finger tapping, the talent was already there. Even when you just played a chord, you always said you didn't know where it came from. People tell me, you'll always have the music and the best tribute anyone can give you is to listen to our songs. I'm listening to 'Loss Of Control' as I write this. It's the stuff in between the licks that gets me. It's so particular, such a distinctive way of playing you had. And then within seconds you've already changed the lick. You've let it evolve ever so slightly in the most interesting way, and you weren't even aware of it half the time. Music just came through you." He continued: "I watched you take your last breath. In that moment, all the stuff you did or made in this world, you can't take it with you. Since you've been gone, I catch myself talking to you, yelling at you, in my head or sometimes out loud. I still have trouble believing you're gone, and probably for me, you never will be. Outliving my little brother, this just wasn't the plan. As the older brother, I was supposed to die first. Same as always, Ed, butting in line. "I've watched, sometimes with anger, sometimes with grief and other times with pride as the world has mourned your passing and other people have claimed to tell your story. But I was with you from day one. We shared the experience of coming to this country and figuring out how to fit in. We shared a record player, an 800-square-foot house, a mom and a dad, and a work ethic." "Later, we shared the back of a tour bus, the experience of becoming successful, of becoming fathers and uncles, of alcoholism and spending more hours in the studio than I've spent doing anything else in this life. We shared a depth of understanding that most people could only hope to achieve. We shared a last name. And we shared a band, and here's what I have to say," Alex Van Halen said. All we can do is pray at this point. We know that these storms are being engineered, but as it says in the video, We are told that we are given authority over the works of the devil…so pray for a miracle.

Big shout out to the legends who are continuing to share the story of the Forest of the fallen. ?????‍♂️?

There truly are no words to describe the magnitude of the crime against the Australian people. And it is still equally difficult to fathom how many people are still yet to connect the dots. We have to remember that we don’t need everyone… We just need enough. Consciousness is shared and I do believe we are approaching a critical mass of awakening… And this is why they are trying to rush through their new misinformation legislation. Never underestimate the importance of your part, no matter how small you think it is… Keep sharing and keep speaking up. There is no doubt that we were born for these times. Stay strong legends.
