President-elect Trump’s Attorney General nominee says: “Ignorant pro-Hamas college students need to be taken out of our country”

“It’s truly heartbreaking to see what’s happening to Jews in this country by a lot of ignorant people who don’t understand, or refuse to acknowledge that Hamas equals terrorism,” says Pam Bondi. “The thing that’s really the most troubling to me is these students in universities in our country—whether they’re Americans or if they’re here […]

Trump Announces Directors Of Key White House Offices

President-elect Donald Trump announced on Monday afternoon key personnel that he has selected to lead three key White House offices. Trump tapped James Braid — who has served as the lead policy aide to Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) during his term in the U.S. Senate — to be the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Legislative Affairs. Braid worked in legislative affairs at the Office of Management and Budget during the Trump administration’s first term in office. Prior to working in the Trump administraiton, Braid served as Chief of Staff to multiple members of Congress, Policy Director of the House Freedom Caucus, and other senior policy roles on Capitol Hill. Trump named Matt Brasseaux to serve as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Political Affairs. Brasseaux served as Deputy Political Director for the 2024 Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC), the Trump transition team said. He played a key role in Trump winning in battleground states in the southwest U.S. Prior to joining the Trump campaign, Brasseaux served as a regional director at the RNC and as Campaign Manager for now-Governor Joe Lombardo in Nevada. Trump selected Alex Latcham to be Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Public Liaison. Latcham has worked for Trump for the last eight years, the Trump transition team said, most recently serving as a senior political director to the Trump campaign and the RNC. “He advised President Trump on political races and endorsements, served as the campaign’s liaison to Republican sister committees, and oversaw the first four states on the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary calendar as the Early States Director,” the transition team said. “Latcham previously served as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Political Director during the first Trump Administration.” ?NEW: President Trump announces James Braid as Director of the Office of Legislative Affairs, @mbrasseaux11 as Director of the Office of Political Affairs, and @Alex_Latcham_ as Director of the Office of Public Liaison. pic.twitter.com/OHVav3QWy2 — Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) November 25, 2024

Kittens Move into Home for the First Time, One is Half the Size She Should Be But Keeps Pressing on

Four kittens moved into a home for the first time. One was half the size she should have been, but she kept pressing on. RyeTraceyA feral cat gave birth to four kittens and desperately needed a safe place. Volunteers from Cat Tales, an animal rescue, swiftly stepped in to bring the family to safety. They prepared a quiet space for the feral momma, where she could comfortably care for her young. With ample food and all the amenities, the kittens began to grow, safe from the harsh outdoor elements."Around six weeks in, it was noticed that the kittens were rather small," Tracey, an experienced fosterer at Cat Tales, shared with Love Meow. Pumpernickel, Rye, and CroutonTraceyThe rescue entrusted the kittens to Tracey to provide them with supplemental feeding. The feral mom was spayed and officially retired from motherhood. The tiny clowder of four fit in a bed with extra room to spare. "The kittens were small, with Rye being the runt." Rye is the runt of the litterTracey"The first two weeks were touch and go. Rye and her sister, Crouton, needed additional feeding support."At six weeks old, Rye was no bigger than a two- to three-week-old kitten. Eating and gaining weight was a challenge for the runt, who couldn't afford to lose even a few grams. Her sister, Crouton, was also fighting for her life right beside her. From top to bottom: Sourdough, Crouton, Pumpernickel, and RyeTraceyTracey syringe-fed the kittens that needed extra help, providing round-the-clock care to ensure they all made it over the hump. Her painstaking efforts paid off when Rye and Crouton bounced back, emerging from their bed one day with renewed energy. Despite her tiny stature, Rye had a fierce spirit and was determined to live life to the fullest. TraceyRye cuddled in a soft blanket with her foster mom, soaking up the affection and gentle strokes. Her tiny body makes her ears appear adorably oversized, like Yoda's. She is a force to be reckoned with. "She is so small and fragile but keeps on trucking along. I anticipate her catching up. She has such a zest for life." Pumpernickel, the only boy, sports a pair of bat earsTraceyPumpernickel, the tuxedo, is the only boy in the litter. He lets his sisters wrestle him and nibble on his whiskers without protest. All he seeks is affection from both humans and his feline family. As soon as he nestles with his foster mom, he melts into a blissful puddle as if nothing else matters. "Pumpernickel is the love bug of the group. He is gentle and sweet." Rye is tiny but mightyTracey"Sourdough is the loudest. She lets everyone know she wants to be picked up. Crouton is so strong. She was wasting away, but fought to live. She was syringe-fed until she started feeling better and eating on her own.""Rye is a little pip. Quiet and small but mighty. She is adorable and doesn't complain at all. Their favorite thing to do is climb on anyone who sits with them and hunker down for love and scritches." Rye and CroutonTraceySlowly but surely, Rye is growing into her radar ears. From the couch, she gazes up at her humans, her ears swiveling toward their voices. She listens intently, charming everyone in sight.Thriving in foster care, they are finally making steady gains and becoming more active each day. TraceyRye and her siblings adore their human companions, always curling up on their laps and ready for the adventures life will bring. TraceyShare this story with your friends. NewsBusters Podcast: Partisan PolitiFact Poobah Admits They're Partial

PolitiFact co-founder Bill Adair is still doing liberal-media interviews for his book on why Republicans lie more. It's titled Beyond the Big Lie: The Epidemic of Political Liars, Why Republicans Do It More, and How It Could Burn Down Our Democracy. He's been promoted on CNN, MSNBC, PBS, and now on NPR stations.  All the Republican-hating media are loving it. He admitted to On The Media host Brooke Gladstone that the "Truth-O-Meter" is an imprecise, subjective measurement. Everything about the "independent fact-checkers" is loaded with partisan opinion. Gladstone noted that in his book, he admits he lied on C-SPAN in 2012 when he tried to claim he doesn't differentiate between the political parties when it comes to fact-checking. He recalled telling a caller, "You know, I can honestly say I don't keep score." Well, we did keep score." Today, PolitiFact's score-keeping is extremely tilted. I found from January to September, Donald Trump was rated "Mostly False" or worse on 57 occasions, and was rated "Mostly True" or "True" on zero occasions. In that time frame, Biden and Harris pretty much had an equal number of True and False ratings.  On the "Truth-O-Meter" ratings, Gladstone asked, "doesn't that open up Pandora's box of subjectivity?" Adair agreed: "Well, the whole thing is subjective. Ultimately, fact checkers at PolitiFact are taking journalistic work that they've done and then making a subjective rating on this imaginary device. So, yes, that can create challenges." He confessed that it's not always consistent: "PolitiFact's critics have had a field day looking for inconsistencies in things like that. It's a human enterprise. They do their best." But Adair knows this leans strongly to the left: "I'm not sure that Truth-O-Meters are going to have an appeal to conservative audiences because they're associated with fact-checkers that probably conservative audiences have been told not to trust." Later came this admission from Adair: "I think that we need to figure out what could appeal beyond this NPR-listening, New York Times-reading, New Yorker-subscribing audience." NewsBusters and other conservative sites argue that "fact checkers" can't be trusted because they blatantly favor Democrats and excuse their largest lies, starting with the notion that President Biden was not in cognitive decline, but was at his best. Joe Scarborough professed in March "F-you if you can't handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever!"
