GoPro, the brand synonymous with action cameras and automotive videos is being pounded by the competition, the consumers and the stock market. GoPro is planning to layoff a Quarter of Its Staff. GoPro has recently faced increased competition. Once the only man about town, Insta360 and DJI have since entered the space with better tech, smaller cameras, easier-to-use backend apps, and cheaper offerings. These two primary rivals have actually delivered reliable and competitive cameras. GoPro in its recent statement mentioned they will be laying off 26 % of its staff. Originally they had planned only 15 % layoff earlier this year. Stock price has fallen precipitously in recent years for GoPro as sales declined, inventory stockpiled, and the brand name lost a little bit of its “action”. Their market share is still being poached by the fast growing Insta360. GoPro’s is having a hard time upgrading their cameras in meaningful ways. Innovation was initially easy, fast and large-scale. The photos and reels were glamourous, spectacular. Then on, their changes were incremental to the point where consumers have to ask themselves, “Why do I need another new GoPro when it’s so close to the last one?” Apple faces this same problem with each successive iPhone. In near future, GoPro might have to reinvent itself in the new world of AI and open-source–or it may have to accept acquisition or forced mergers. Well, that sucks balls because in the recent festive sales, I had got myself an alleged bargain for the latest GoPro HERO 13 Black. Meanwhile, Joe Biden could only draw about 10 people and then went to bed at 7:30pm after "putting a lid" on the day by lunch time: But why am I telling you all of this? Because this iconic photo of Butler, PA from 2020 has been President Trump's banner image on Twitter since 2020! Here's what it looks like: There is no publicly available history of Twitter profile/banner image histories available, but according to an article from VOI.ID published in 2022, this is the banner image that was on President Trump's Twitter profile when he was banned from Twitter on January 8, 2021....and it has sat that way to this very day. I know some of you will say "big deal" and it's "just a coincidence" but it seems quite a strange coincidence to me. You mean to tell me that one of the last and most important MAGA Rallies of 2020 was in Butler, PA, a town of only 13,000 people? Why pick a town of only 13,000 people for such an important Rally? Then you put that image up on Twitter and it remains there to this day? Has never been replaced with anything else? A Butler, PA Rally from 2020? Then you return to Butler, PA 4 years later, still a town of only 13,000 people and that's where he is nearly assassinated? MSNBC Refers To The "Last 5-6 Years Of This Show" One of the phrases that gets thrown around so much in the "Q Community" (whatever that means) is the idea that we are "Watching a Show" and "you're gonna love how this show ends". As I sit here, I can't tell you for sure 100% one way or the other, but I do know this....I do know that there are constantly these little disclosures that pop up in the strangest of places that seem to confirm we are watching some form of a show. A 25-year-old man has been charged in federal court after threatening to kill former President Donald Trump and Christian conservatives if Trump wins the election. Isaac Sissel was arrested the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 5 after an anonymous online submission to the FBI National Threat Operations Center indicated he planned to carry out an attack against conservative Christians. “I have a stolen ar15 (sic) and a target I refuse to name so I can continue to get away with my plans,” the threat read in part, according to court records. “Without a specific victim or ability to find the place I hid the gun, there’s not a thing the FBI can do until I complete the attack.” The submission also indicated that whoever made the complaint had a firearm, hollow point ammunition and a chemical irritant, according to court records. Officials used phone records and an IP address to connect the submission to Sissel, according to court records. According to court records, on November 2, 2024, the FBI National Threat Operations Center in West Virginia intercepted an anonymous online message containing a detailed threat. In the message, Sissel allegedly declared his intent to carry out an attack if the 2024 election resulted in a win for former President Donald Trump. FBI agents apprehended Sissel this morning, and he is expected to appear in federal court later this afternoon to face these charges. The case is currently under investigation by the FBI Detroit Field Office, which is working to gather further details on Sissel’s plans and any other potential threats. CBS News is actually reporting that two different Michigan men have been arrested, one of which was Sissel.  The other man appears to have been arrested in a completely different instance of threatening a political action committee with threatening emails. According to federal criminal complaints, a 46-year-old man from Jackson allegedly sent two threatening emails to a political action committee (PAC) on Oct. 2, while a 25-year-old man from Ann Arbor allegedly threatened to “shoot conservative Christians” if Trump wins the election a few days before Election Day. The recounting was being done “out of an abundance of caution,” said Melissa Howard, spokesperson for the Milwaukee Election Commission. There was no reason to believe that any ballots already counted had been tampered with, she said. Howard said they were taking the step of recounting all of the ballots in an effort to be “completely, fully transparent.” The problem was due to human error, she said. According to BBC: Musk, the owner of Tesla and X, has been aggressively campaigning for the Republican candidate in swing states across the country. Trump’s campaign is hosting watch parties including at his Mar-a-Lago home and also Palm Beach Convention Center for thousands of supporters. It is not clear which events Trump and Musk will attend, but a source familiar with Musk’s plans told CBS the pair will be together. Earlier, Trump said he was going to host “a very special group of people, many of whom you know” in Mar-a-Lago. “In addition we’ll have four or five thousand people at the convention center,” he said, speaking to reporters as he arrived to cast his ballot in Florida.
